Fourth session of the Cibali Talks continued with the speech of Fatih Tığlı, from İstanbul University Turkish Language and Literature Department with a title of ‘Addiction in Turkish Literature: Hedonism and Snuff‘. Tığlı conveyed the idea with reflections from the literature and images of beautifully enamelled case boxes that the snuff, which was produced in Cibali Tobacco and Cigarette Factory as well, was more than an addictive element, it was a cultural phenomenon.
