Urartian Belts

Rezan Has Museum continues to expand its collection belonging to the Urartian civilization, which ruled for nearly 250 years in Van and its environs. In the Urartian Belts Exhibition, there are belts and belt pieces that have not revealed before and selected carefully from our Urartian Period collection.

Our expanding Urartian belt collection have met art lovers as a result of detailed conservation and restoration works carried out by our museum experts. Thanks to the historical, archaeometric, metallurgical and philological researches carried out on the belts; Our exhibition, which is organized with new information about Urartian history, art, metal technology and language, is open to visitors seven days a week.
