The exhibition called “The Centennial Tale of Turkish Painting” unveils the projections of the prominent pages of or history of art and shares with our audiences. Through this exhibition which comprises works of art belonging to Mr. Halil İbrahim İper, we present the rich tale of the Turkish history of art, from Osman Hamdi Bey to Şeker Ahmet Paşa, from İbrahim Çallı, to Fikret Mualla and to the contemporary painters with remarkable examples.

Halil İbrahim İper collection, is very meaningful by including the works representing certain haunts of our history of painting and also comprising singular and rare paintings of certain artists that do not reflect their styles. The exhibition where more than 300 works are displayed and its catalogue provide valuable data for the history of arts researchers.
